Stanford Center for Evolutionary and Human Genetics (CEHG) community member, Aashish Jha, organized a one-day educational workshop designed to educate middle and high school students and their parents about careers in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and design (STEMD). This event, organized in collaboration with Global Nepali Professional Network (GNPN) leadership, Hira Dangol, was designed specifically for Nepali students living in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Participants had opportunities to participate in hands-on scientific activities, learned about cutting-edge ongoing research in STEMD, interacted with the scientific community in the SF Bay Area, and learned about internships for middle and high school students at Stanford.
